Established in 2011, Bold Street Coffee is operated by master barista and artisan coffee enthusiast, Sam Tawil. Sam’s commitment to sourcing the best blends has meant that this sanctuary has quickly become a pit stop for Liverpool's caffeine fiends.
Inside, the ever-changing chalkboard features a wide range of guest coffees from all corners of the globe; each blend is carefully hand-picked by the team and is convientantly accompanied by a short description. Below the chalkboard catch a glimpse of the much-coveted Technics 1210 turntable spinning a wealth of different sounds from early till late.
Sam and his team of baristas are clearly dedicated to their art, and each cup is carefully crafted to consider all contributing factors such as different grinds depending on the blend, a prime temperature check and optimum flow rates.
Bold Street Coffee also offers a range of healthy breakfast and lunch options devised by Head Chef Jo Hicks; a firm favourite with IDMCo is the bircher museli bowl with apple-juice-soaked oats, rhubarb compote, grated apple, yoghurt and seeds.
