Perched on the edge of Liverpool’s commercial district is Oh Me Oh My, the latest venture from the team behind loose-leaf tea haven LEAF. Housed in the former bank of West Africa, the Grade II listed building sits opposite Liverpool’s iconic Liver Building and in 2013 the space was transformed to become Oh Me Oh My, a grand tea house throughout the week and home to special events on weekends.

Dubbed as ‘a secret space’, Oh Me Oh My is housed in a grand neoclassical setting and features high ceilings, towering Ionic columns and majestic balconies alongside LEAF’s signature décor. Custom-made and pastel-hued Art Deco tiles line the back wall and the space is furnished with vintage sofas, reclaimed wooden furnishings and vintage lighting. Oh Me Oh My is fortunately bathed in plenty of natural light despite its position in the shadow of the Liver building, with large windows illuminating the expansive space. Although the public can only enjoy it during the week, Oh Me Oh My hosts a wealth of private events at weekends and functions as a magnificent wedding venue.

Following in the footsteps of LEAF, the venue offers a well considered collection of loose-leaf teas alongside a wholesome breakfast and lunchtime menu of sandwiches, soups, salads and main courses; IDMCo's top pick is the Merguez sausage cassoulet with Moroccan style chickpea dumplings, delicately done and full of flavour.

A majestic waterfront space, Oh Me Oh My is one of the most charming and grand buildings in Liverpool and since its launch the venue has gained a solid following. Rumour has it that the Grade II listed building has a very long wedding waiting list so if you're looking to get hitched here, book quickly.
