If you're looking for a quite brunch spot away from the busy streets of Berlin, Roamers is the place. Located in Berlin's hip Neukölln district, Roamers' interior features neutral shades and natural materials that create a calming space ideal for a solitary coffee or a lunch with close friends.
Housed in a former Mexican restaurant, Chris Schiefner and Flore Schmidt quit their day jobs to pursue their culinary dreams and since then pair have worked hard to create a serene space. The décor is subtle yet each piece of furniture tells a story; the timber counter made from recycled wood was sourced from the stables where Fore spent her childhood and the industrial pendants hanging above the counter were salvaged from the factory where Fore's uncle worked as a scientist, just before it closed down.
As well as artisan coffee, Roamers also has a menu of freshly prepared and organic breakfast and lunch options including grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, fresh juices and homemade Bircher muesli. We highly recommend the cheddar beer bread, the ideal remedy for sore heads induced by Berlin's wild nightlife.
The exterior features a small leafy seating area overlooking the cobbled streets for people watching on sunny days.
