The sister of Munich's independent menswear label Harvest, Sprout offers a tightly edited selection of womenswear sourced from around the world. Sprout was founded when graphic designer Philip Stolte (Harvest) and Art History graduate Laura Bohnenbergerin discovered a lack of innovative retailers in Munich's more traditionally conservative University district.
With a focus on seasonal and quality womenswear, Sprout presents a selection of established brands including A.P.C, Grenson, Kitsune, In God We Trust, Patagonia, Nike, The Hillside and S.N.S Herning as well as some independent labels. Cosmetics, ceramics, jewellery and accessories, all handpicked Philip and Laura with quality and origin in mind, complement sprout’s womenswear collection.
The Sprout store on Theresienstrasse has a minimalist interior and features raw wooden hanging rails and wall embedded cabinets to showcase products as well as fresh flowers and plants that add a splash of colour to the otherwise neutral store.
