Located in Copenhagen's Torvellherne food market is The Coffee Collective, a short walk away from busy Nørreport station. Run by Danish Barista Champion (2013) Rasmus Gamrath, this branch doesn't let its market location detract from an artisan coffee experience and hosts most of the equipment found in the other stores alongside bags of custom-made blends.
Founded by Klaus Thomsen, Peter Dupont, Casper Engel Rasmussen and Linus Törsäter, The Coffee Collective is a speciality coffee micro-roastery also found on Jægersborggade and Gothåbsvej. With a common goal to provide people with an exceptional coffee experience, The Coffee Collective is committed to using high quality blends and a rigorous roasting process. The collective also believe that this experience is enhanced by sustainability and as a result actively cooperate with farmers on a global scale to develop a transparent system of production to also improve the quality of their coffee.
In order to share their specialist knowledge, The Collective Collective have published their own book, God Kaffe – Grundbog For Kaffeelskere (Good coffee - A textbook for coffee lovers), available for purchase on their online store.
