Tricotage is sat in Copenhagen's lively Nørrebro district alongside other IDMCo independents, Coffee Collective and Groed. Founded in Spring 2010 by Danish designers Karin Bjørneboe and Ida Anesdatter Schmidt, the pair sought to create charming yet functional pieces using sustainable materials, with a particular focus on organic cotton. 

The brand's commitment to natural materials and fair methods of production mean that craftsmanship is carefully considered and the store uses organic materials wherever possible. All Tricotage's cotton is certified, 100% organic and processed in an ecologically friendly manner; in addition the brand ensures that their production methods do not use child labour and that workers are paid at least the minimum wage and are free to join and form trade unions. Ethical, fair and smart, don't miss Tricotage's own collection presented alongside brands such as Nudie Jeans, Han Kjøbenhavn, Rains and publications including the Travel Almanac.
