Islington design store Twentytwentyone combines classic twentieth century pieces with contemporary work. Driven by good design, the store's constantly evolving collection is sourced from across the world and includes furniture, lighting and accessories. Founded by Simon Alderson and Tony Cunningham in 1996, Twentytwentyone aim to present emerging designers alongside established names and the brand's own award-winning range.
Inside, the light-filled two-story space is a perfect setting for the carefully sourced and beautifully designed homeware, classic retro furniture and contemporary pieces. Expect to find brands such as Abbeyhorn, Aesop, Boskke, Braun and C6 and glass cabinets full of miscellaneous objects. The knowledgeable team are always available to guide customers through Twentytwentyone’s portfolio of products; on our visit we spotted Jasper Morrison's white Carrara marble Perpignan & Toulouse table set.
After many years of partnering with eminent designers, Twentytwentyone have completed respected hotel, restaurant, residential, office, retail and institutional design projects and also have an international commercial sales team, Twentytwentyone Contracts.
