Chris Kontos | Several; S/S16 Lookbook | London (UK) | By Michael Gannon

This season sees London-based menswear label Several; team up with Athens-based photographer Chris Kontos for their Spring/Summer 2016 lookbook. London-based ERKN Footwear is the brainchild of Bournemouth graduated Elliott Erkan and we're looking forward to getting our hands on the Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Handmade in Italy using the finest leathers from the likes of the Carli leather tannery, the tightly-edited collection features three silhouettes understandably titled 001, 002 and 003 representing their order of conception. Wallace Manning | British Rail Corporate Identity Manual | London (UK) | By Lee Fleming

There's plenty of projects that have recently caught the IDMC° teams eye on Kickstarter but one in particular we don't want to miss out on is the British Rail Corporate Identity Manual by London-based graphic designer Wallace Henning. The Kickstarter campaign looks to reproduce the iconic British Rail Corporate Identity Manual with full from the Department of Transport. Henning's reproduction looks to celebrate British Rail's identify, beyond its distinctive symbol created by Gerry Barney at Design Research Unit which became a shorthand for Britain’s national rail network.

Henning's high spec reproduction entails the assistance of Nick Job, a recognised custodian of the British Rail Corporate Identity Manual. The book will collate approximately 220 pages into a clothbound hardback volume, additional features includes a foreword by Michael C Place, (creative director and founder of Build), introduction by Tony Howard (former head of design at British Rail & managing director of Transport Design Consultancy), an essay by James Greenfield (creative director & founder of Koto) and interview with Gerry Barney, designer of the British Rail double arrow symbol.

To support the British Rail Corporate Identity Manual visit their Kickstarter and/or visit Wallace Henning's website.

Story mfg. | London (UK) | By Lee Fleming

We're been observing English denim label Story Mfg. since it's inception earlier this year. Founded by partners Katy Katazome and Bobbin Threadbare, Story mfg. strives to re-wild traditional craftsmanship with a focus on slow manufacturing and season-less products. Their 'Slow made' philosophy isn't for the impatient, opting to use extremely slow processes including using hand picked cotton, hank dyed yarn and hand loomed denim to create their timeless collection.

Inspired by the past with vintage influences, the Story Mfg. Collection includes the 0 Jean (classic five pocket jean) , time jacket (pre-1950s prison issue jacket) and beautiful eyewear made from 100% cotton acetate.

View the Story Mfg. collection on their website or visit their floating workshop based along the London canals.
